Jelena Antanasijevic

Jelena Antanasijevic is a costume and fashion designer from Belgrade based in New York City. 
Jelena holds a BFA from the Academy of Applied Arts in Belgrade with an MA in Costume and Fashion Design and a BA in Textile Design. She was awarded a scholarship to the University of Connecticut's Design Program for Theater where she earned her MFA degree in Costume Design.

Currently, Jelena is working between theater, film, fashion and visual art. She focuses on transformative qualities of costumes and clothing through a range of disciplines. Using collage as a strategy,  Jelena explores form, movement, and storytelling.

Jelena is a co-founder of an awarded fashion studio Klasa located in downtown Belgrade.
